WhatsApp - Patient Engagement Messages

Send Notifications to patients using WhatsApp Message Templates. Customize messages to suit your preferences. Setup templates in multiple languages - will match patient's language with language of whatsapp message template - if template not found in patient language then will use default message template.


Setup

  • Register and setup account with Facebook Developer : https://got2.helpscoutdocs.com/article/246-whatsapp-meta-developer-account-setup
  • Enable WhatsApp
  • Set Message Templates with proper names and variables. Optional: if multiple languages are needed then setup for each language with template name being template name underscore language code. e.g. recall is for english. If you want to setup recall in french then setup recall_fr. If patient lanugage in their profile is French, we will first look for message template recall_fr and if not found we will use template with name recall


  • Get required keys
  • Setup these keys in Got2
  • Fetch templates
  • Go to Patient Engagement - Check WhatsApp message to be sent

When the patient record meets the requirement it will send the appropriate message


NOTE: Copy templates from Meta Templates so they get Quickly Approved and then change as needed. Custom templates take a lot of time.



Message Template Name and Variables and their order are Fixed.

Message text and buttons can be changed to your preferences.
