Set Mandatory Fields in the Patient Screen

You can specify which fields are required to create a patient record.


Steps to configure required fields:

Navigate to Patient > Configuration > Access Required Fields.

After that, click the New button to create a record if a patient record does not already exist.

  1. Select Patient in the Model field.
  2. Choose the fields you want to make mandatory on the patient screen.
  3. Check the Is Required checkbox for each selected field.
  4. Click Save to store the configuration.

Now, go to the Patient screen and create a new record.

If you try to save the record without filling the First Name, Last Name, and Email, the system will display a warning indicating that these required fields must be completed.
