How to Reschedule an Appointment
Option 1: Click and Drag on the Appointment Page
Option 2 : Through the Patient Page
Option 3: Edit the Existing Appointment and Click the Reschedule Button
This is the fastest method for quick rescheduling.
- Navigate to the Appointments module.
- Locate the appointment you want to reschedule. Appointments are displayed as blocks on the calendar.
- Click and hold the appointment block to select it.
- Drag the appointment block to the desired date or time slot on the calendar.
- Release the mouse button to place the appointment in the new time slot.
- If needed, adjust the appointment duration by clicking and dragging the bottom edge of the appointment block.
Note: Ensure that the new time slot is not already occupied by another appointment.
Option 2 : Through the Patient Page
- Navigate to the Patients module and select the patient whose appointment you want to reschedule.

After opening the patient record, navigate to the Appointments tab. Here, you will find all appointments associated with the patient.
Locate the appointment you want to reschedule and click the View (Eye) button to open the appointment record.

After opening the appointment record, you will be taken to the appointment form view.
In the form view, click the Reschedule button to begin the appointment rescheduling process.

After clicking the Reschedule button, a small popup window will appear.
Select the appropriate Reschedule Reason and click the Reschedule button. You will then be redirected to the appointment scheduling calendar.

On the appointment scheduling screen, complete the following fields:
- Location – Select the location where the appointment will be scheduled.
- Service – Select the service or appointment type.
- Provider – Select the provider for the appointment.
- Date – Choose the desired appointment date from the calendar.
- Time Slot – After selecting a date, the available time slots will be displayed. Select your preferred time slot.
Once all the required information has been entered, click the Confirm Appointment button to complete the rescheduling process

After confirming the appointment, you will be redirected back to the patient record.
In the Appointments tab, you can view the newly rescheduled appointment.

Option 3: Edit the Existing Appointment and Click the Reschedule Button
Navigate to the Appointments module and locate the appointment you want to reschedule.
Click on the appointment to open its details.

After clicking the appointment, a popup window will open displaying the appointment details.
Click the Reschedule button to begin the appointment rescheduling process.

After clicking the Reschedule button, a small popup window will appear.
Select the appropriate Reschedule Reason and click the Reschedule button. You will then be redirected to the appointment scheduling calendar.

On the appointment scheduling screen, complete the following fields:
- Location – Select the location where the appointment will be scheduled.
- Service – Select the service or appointment type.
- Provider – Select the provider for the appointment.
- Date – Choose the desired appointment date from the calendar.
- Time Slot – After selecting a date, the available time slots will be displayed. Select your preferred time slot.
Once all the required information has been entered, click the Confirm Appointment button to complete the rescheduling process

After confirming the appointment, you will be redirected back to the patient record.
In the Appointments tab, you can view the newly rescheduled appointment.
