Appointment Schedule and Online Appointment Configuration


1) First, navigate to the Employee module and open the Doctors records to view which doctors are available for patients to book appointments. Then, enable the Appointment boolean option to display the doctor in the Doctors List.



2) Next, set up the doctors’ working hours company-wise to define the days and times they are available during the week. To do this, navigate to Appointments → Settings → Schedule and create a new record if one is not already available.

3) Then, navigate to the Companies menu by going to Settings → Users & Companies → Companies.



4) Allow Online Appointments :

Open the company record. In the form view, you will find the Allow Online Appointments checkbox. If this option is enabled, the company will be visible for online appointments; otherwise, it will not appear in online appointment listings.

5) Google Map Direction Link:

Another field is available in the Company form view where you can add the company’s Google Maps location link. Once this link is configured, the Redirection URL option will appear in the Company Information section, allowing users to view the location direction. If the Google Maps link is not configured at the company level, the Redirection URL option will not be visible.

6) Website:

Another field, Website, is available in the Company form. If a website URL is added to this field, the company name on the online appointment booking screen will appear as a clickable link, and users will be redirected to the configured website when they click it. If no website is configured, the company name will be displayed as plain text without redirection.

7) Finally, view the result on the Online Appointment Booking page.


8) Other Point:

When a patient generates an online appointment and you want it to be scheduled automatically, you can configure this setting in the system.

Go to Settings > General Settings > Calendar, search for Appointment Settings, and enable the Automatically Schedule Appointments checkbox.

Once enabled, all appointments will be scheduled automatically.


9) You can view all online appointments with their status by going to Appointments > Online Requests.


Set Default Service Times for Each Doctor


We can also set the default time duration based on the doctor in the service product.

To do this, go to Inventory → Products → Services and open the service product list.



Open the service product for which you want to set the time duration for a specific doctor.

In the General Information tab, locate the Appointment checkbox. If it is not checked, enable it. Once enabled, a new Schedule tab will appear.

Navigate to the Schedule tab.


Inside the Schedule tab, select the specific doctor’s name in the Employee column and set the duration time (the time is calculated in minutes) and save that record.
