How to Create a Glasses Order


There are two ways to create a Glasses Sale Order:


1) From Patients Screen

2) From Sale Order Screen


1) From the Patients Screen


Navigate to the Patient module and open the patient for whom you want to create the sale order.


Navigate to RX > Vision > Glasses tab. Here, you can add a new RX or use an existing RX to create the sale order. Simply click on this button to create the sale order for the selected RX.



You will then be redirected to the Sale Order screen. After that, click on the Frame button to add the frame in sale order.


Select the brand and model. Below, you will see all the frames related to the selected brand and model. Choose any frame and click on the Add button. So all the Frames details will fill automatically in the frame section.

You can also add a frame using the UPC. To do this, paste the UPC into the UPC field.



fter clicking the Add button, all frame details will be automatically filled with their respective values. You can then add any additional prescription information if required. Finally, click the Lens button to add the lens to the sales order.

In the Lens wizard, first select the Lens Type and Lens Style. Then, choose the Material. Based on these selections, all relevant lenses will be displayed in the list. You can select the desired lens and click the Add button.

You can also add lens treatments if needed. Click the OPT button, select the desired lens treatment category, choose the required treatments, and then add them.

Below, in the Order Lines tab, you can see all the added order lines.


2) From Sale Order Screen


Navigate to the Sales module and click Create to add a new record. Then, select the patient and set the Type to Glasses. After that, add the frame following the same steps described above.


For the prescription, you can add it directly from the sales order using the RX button. Simply add the prescription to the sales order.


After this, follow the same process as described in the first flow.
